Once Upon a Time in Australia out now on Sold Our Souls Records
27/4/2007
Alright, well thanks to everyone who came out and saw us in Canberra and Melbourne, and to the Flogging Molly crew and crowd. We've had some great shows and Ozzy feels very welcome thanks to the whiskey and cheers.
Back to business, we're playing at Blackcherry nightclub, held at the Mandarin Club, on May the 18th. It's always awesome there, with cheap drinks and a very relaxed attitude, so come out and get hammered, or something. Check it out at www.myspace.com/blackcherryclub.
That's all I can think of, except to say thanks Ollie and Carl for letting us sleep at your houses, Wes for tattoo designs, Todd for Browny's shoulder artwork, and Pox for being lovely. I'm sure there's heaps of people that should be in this list. You'll have to wait for your chance next time.

Hey everyone. We'll be at Flogging Molly on Saturday, playing, if you're there. Short notice and all, we'll rock it hard if you come.
We'll be in Canberra and Melbourne on the 20th and 21st of April as well. Hope to see you all there. I'm tired. I will be tired then too. It'll be our first hit out with our new drummer, Ozzy Citzen, and I'm sure you'll all be very impressed, just as we are!
The messageboard went down but has been returned to us also. Feel free to post pornography and tell us what rapes your camel.

Well, I guess the year of the pig is the year SC Trash goes to school. Two thirds of the band have decided to get smarter and use what few brain cells remain after our travels and such. But fear not. We will be playing shows again very soon. Melbourne will be first. At the Espy. A five band show in late April. We'll see you there.
Yes, the messageboard lasted a whole week. I think having a picture of a spanner stuck in a man's urethra (thanks Pox) was a little too much for the whitebread "nice" people who operated the service. At least it wasn't dick in dick, but hey, some people have closed minds i spose.
Pig
It's been ages since the last post, thanks everyone for your impatience. In the meantime we've found a new drummer, Ozzy, and are preparing to hit 2007 nice and hard. I should have heaps to say, and i could shit on for ages about stuff, but really, it's not that important. It's my birthday on thursday and i'll be at nofx, so if you see me and feel nice you could buy me a beer or two. If you don't feel nice bourbon will be fine thanks.
Also, I have resurrected the beautiful experience of the SC Trash Messageboard, so leave your insults and shit there for us, we'll get em, and love it.

We had an awesome time over the last few days. Thanks to all the great people who helped make it great. You will know who you are, we probably had a beer together, or something else. A big fuck you to the cock in charge of the Imperial Hotel in Tamworth. That's 2 pubs we cant play at, and they're both in Tamworth. And we play a lot of places. Thumbs down to intolerance of SC Trash in Tamworth (by pubs). Thumbs up to the people who we're generally decent all round (that's everyone else). I'm sure there's somewhere that would appreciate us to play in Tamworth, but where.......
Keep on aceing the bucket Australia, I know i will

Ok, we're about to embark on our final missions with ABW, the only tail gunner we've ever known. This weekend see us in Tamworth and Burren Junction. In two weeks, it's brisbane and towoomba. thats 2 new towns in 2 weeks.
If anyones good at hitting stuff, booze, etc let us know. I need a new partner in the rhythm section for 2007.
Pig

Yeah, so it's been a while since i wrote anything. I've been busy (read I've been wasting my time getting drunk). I'm not gunna set the bar too high by writing too much now.
We're playing the Empire in Annandale this saturday, the 4th of November. I think we'll be in Brissie in a few weeks. Good luck in exams if anyones a nerd like me.
Pig
9/10/2006
Well, we're going/coming to Tassie on the weekend, depending on your perspective. Chill the beer and warm up the prawn suits you mad bastards.
Pig
22/09/2006
Here at SC HQ there's much training afoot as we prepare to finally make it to a Newcastle show. Barring broken arms etc, I reckon we've got a good shot at pulling it off this time. (hahaha, pull.....) Anyway, that's next weekend. Then, we're heading down to Tassie. All the Tassie shows aren't all on the shows page, because I don't have them. I'll do what I can to inform the folks of the south of our movements across your fine lands. Check your local guides I spose.
Till next time, keep Australia nuclear!

Ok, we're coming to Bendigo soon. If anyone wants to give us a show anywhere between Sydney and Bendigo on Friday the 6th of October, let us know asap.
Otherwise, see you at the Lansdowne. And all you ladies on the guestbook, calm down. (I think they must be pmsing or something?)
sensitively yours

Oh what a night. Not late December, and 2006, but still.....my head, arrrrr. Come see us play with the Fireballs on saturday, if your'e rich. If your'e poor, come see us at the Lansdowne in a couple of weeks, with the muthafuckin twits. They sure do rock hilariously. I like them. I'm going to eat noodles now. Sydney has a lot of good food.

Sorry, apparently Newcastle's cancelled yet again. I know, I know.......
21/8/06
Thanks to everyone who helped make the ECLC Taking Care of Fizzness Tour work out. Our travelling buddies Not Quite Right and The Disables, and all the others, in no particular order: Bad Day Down, JJ Speedball, Vae Victus, Final Warning, Topnovil and Melbournes ECLC connection No Idea, which included about 6 or 7 guitarists on the night. Too many people to mention, so thanks to the crew in all cities.
In other news, you can catch us with the illustrious pirateers Mutiny this friday at The Empire in Sydney and on Saturday, for the first time ever, in Newcastle!

Just thought I'd update this old thing. Thanks Melbourne, I had heaps of fun. Not enough sexy results, but thats fine. Next week we will be back in Brissie, Sydney, Wollongong and Melbourne again. Check the shows page for details, or look at the poster on the first page of the website.
Fizzness as usual,

Beer and Brisbane, with sexy robotic results. Thanks everyone who was involved in making our brief stay up there awesome and (permanently) memorable. Now it's up to Melbourne to beat that in 2 weeks time. See you at the Arthouse next week.
And remember kids, for all your tattoo needs, Pig recommends Milly at All Star Tattoo. It's up the back of Skinny's.

Well, Come Together was quite a time. Thanks for the beer and funny times. The next time we'll be out is on the 25th of June at the Annandale for a charity show. We'll be in Brisbane on the 7th of July too, hope to see you guys again in good form.
Also, a hearty fuck you to the prick who didn't give back my bag that I lost. I have no idea who you are and will never find you. Unless.......no probably not.
Anyway, till next time, drink responsibly and drive carefully.
Pig
5/6/2006
Hi everybody. I "lost" my bag at the towny last friday after I got maggot at our show. I have caluculated I drank 16 beers before I got on stage that night, fucked if I know how many after. Yes, I was being obnoxious, apologies to those who deserve them, you know who you are. If you have my bag however, return it, cause it's got all the files for this website in it.
Otherwise, see you at Come Together this week, where I'll be more sober!
Pig
Contrary to what the shows page has been proclaiming, we will not be playing in Wollongong this weekend. We will however be playing with Charter 77, The Corps and Faux Hawks at The Marquee Club this Friday night (2nd of June). Then Come Together on the 10th of June. See you all at these shows you bastards.
Pig
17/5/2006
Thanks to everyone who came to Hell or Highwater. We'll be out next in Sydney drinking out the back of the Come Together Festival at Luna Park. Also we'll be playing, so if you come along, we'd love to see you.
Pig
4/5/2006
Hello again. Well, Hell or Highwater is coming up very soon, on the 13th of May. Mutiny, The Corps, Demolition Highstyle and Vae Victus will be joining us at the Gaelic Club for what looks to be a very nice evening. There's giveaways on the night as well, so bring a basket.
Thanks to the crew and extras who helped us with the Ballad of Little Johnny video too. Hopefully it will be ready asap for all your rocking out on tv needs. Special thanks to Jo for making so many good sandwiches, and also providing juice and chocolate muffins!
That's it, thanks to the people who came to our recent shows, we'll see you all very soon.
Pig
18/4/2006
We're finally home from Busted and Disgusted. It was only 2 weeks, but there was a million beers. Thanks to all the people who came to our shows, had a beer or helped out. No Idea and The Black Market kicked arse and also let us stay at their houses. Thanks also to Pete Disable for having most of the crew in his house. Then there's all the bands we played with: Charter 77, Run For Cover, The Corps, Zombie Ghost Train, The Ordinaries, The Disables. I'm sure I've missed one. Sorry, i'll make special mention next time. Fuck you to the guy from The Coolangatta Hotel who called off our show once we were already in Queensland.
A few shows in Sydney are coming up:
25/4 - ANZAC DAY @ The Hopetoun
28/4 @ The Empire, Annandale
See the shows page for more details.
Once Upon A Time in Australia, the new cd, is out now. You can order it off us for $25 or buy it anywhere for whatever they charge you. If your fav shop doesn't have it in stock ask for it, you should be able to order it....anywhere. Check out the mp3s at www.myspace.com/sydneycitytrash. Request our songs on triple j or whatever radio you think they'll play it on if you like. It'll help us out anyway.
thanks

Tickets are on sale for our cd launch. It's on Thursday, April 13, the day before Good Friday, at the Gaelic Club. Click here to get tickets from Moshtix, supporting retailers or at the venue if there's still some left. The cd's gunna be available there too!
15/3/2006
We here at SC Trash HQ are having a little break/training session before hitting the road in April. We won't make it to Adelaide with the Busted and Disgusted tour, which also has No Idea and The Black Market in the bus. Our good friends Povvo will fill in for the Adelaide leg of the tour, but we will be around for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Click on the shows link to see the dates.
If there's no problems, we should have our new cd by then too!
See you around, buy us a beer.

Happy Valentines everyone who didn't get one or would like to think this is for them.
Our journey to Tassie was loads of fun, thanks to Gibbo and Callum, and everyone else that looked after us, gave us free beer, did our sound, came to the shows, etc. There's pictures and videos of our exploits coming soon. Campfire discussion suggests well be down that way before too long at all, possibly mid-year.
New shirt designs and stubbie holders have been added to our merch arsenal too. Eight bucks for a stubbie holder, email if you want one. There's also girls singlets and girl sized shirts now.
Our next show will be at the Lansdowne on the 25th of February, it's free, so if you're in Sydney, come down and have a beer. We miss you all terribly.
Tour dates for April will be up very soon. Keep an eye on the shows page.

Hey all. January's nearly over. My birthday's coming up. Send money or nude photos, or live nude girls. Remember, quality over quantity please.
So, this week we go to Tassie. We're are very excited here at Trash HQ. 3 shows, come down if you're from Melbourne.....specifically someone i wont embarress by naming.
New album will be out in April, and we'll be riding in a bus with a few buddies of ours coming to a capital city (or possibly a regional centre) near you. Official dates will be posted soon, for now the official date is early April. The capital city near you thing does not apply if you are near Perth or Darwin, sorry. Hassle us and we'll come to you...someday.

Ps. The forum we used to use is dead, thanks to the punknetwork crew. All the classic anecdotes are like sand through the hourglass now. Stand by for it's replacement.

Whiskey
and water y'all. Whats news? Well waters wet, the sky is blue and Paddy's
gay. Not actually gay in the broke back moutain sense but gay in the sense
he left practise this evening in a huff after we took to long getting things
tight.
Best you get yourself to the Annandale on Friday the 20th of January to
rock out to the worlds greatest punk bands. It will be one hell of a night!!
Also if your going to be in Tamworth during the shit festival you may find
some relief at the Goodies when we're playing. Seriously I know its wrong
to speak ill of the dead but FUCK Slim Dusty and all the over promoted banale
CMAA fags. How about some heart and originality??
As for all the girls who've been sending fan mail. We love you. If you wanna send naked photo's though send em to mitchhell@gmail.com cause the trash emai is gettin full. Also send all numbers and wether or not you wanna get F.R.E.A.K.Y.
Thats about it see ya all in Sydney, Tamworth, Tasmania or wherever you may lay your head in this sunburnt land we call home. Album will be out before ya can say CRONZA. we love you all too much to put into words.
Keep the faith Australia

Since the last post we've been to Melbourne and played some Johnny Cash songs. Thanks to the boys from Charter, and everyone else who deserves it for sorting out the Melbourne shows, they were great. Thanks to Alex and Sonya for the JC success. Also, i spose, we should thank all the people that came to the shows and had a beer. Thanks to anyone who bought me a beer especially.
On the actual news front, CD's all done. Look out for some changes here as February gets closer.
We're gunna go stick it up Tamworth as well during their Telstra/Toyota Music Festival. They did everything they could do to take us out. But like any good monster that just made us stronger. Cause they don't like us and they don't like you the SC Trash fans. Cause they know we stand for three things: Truth, Justice, And fuck the Country Music College way. Check out the shows page for the dates of when we'll be playing.

While pissed, man loses his keys and decides to smash a window to get into his house, opening up a large gash on his leg. Concerned neighbours call the police. While removing glass from the window frame the man is subdued with pepper spray and cuffed for breaking and entering. The police later find out he lives there and laugh at their fuck up. Man goes to hospital and gets stitches.
Just another Friday night. I have a boo-boo on my leg but. The artwork is nearly done for the album too. Gus will finish it someday I reckon. Till next time.....

I'm a little less rooted today. Alright, here's the deal. December, you can catch us in Sydney and Melbourne. In Melbourne we'll be appearing with those dodgy tatt boys Mutiny, the party boys Charter 77, and two bands I don't know, The Twits, and a band with the best name ever.....Loners with Boners.
In Sydney it's gunna be Waiting for Guiness, the mighty Corps, the undead Zombie Ghost Train, the 180 degree inside angles of Triangle, rock n roll hell with Demo Highstyle, and probably a band i've missed out. If you're in that band and pissed off email and I'll write a special thingy for you. I know how it feels to be forgotten, check Bizoo for details.
Then, I believe it's several dates around Brisbane and a few towns a bit out of there, Victoria, Tassie, probably good old Sydney Town.
Lastly, there's a fucken ripper of a show coming up on.....i think.....January 20. It's gunna be Run For Cover, Smash and Grab, and Demolition Highstyle. Either way, it's a fucken killer punk show like we should do.

As far as I know: we'll be playing in Melbourne in like 3 or 4 weeks. If youre down there come. The cd will be out later than expected, around January at this stage. Also around that time we'll be going around the place touring, hopefully to a town near you.

If you happened to be at the Lansdowne last night, thanks for sticking around for our show. It was late, but it was pretty damn cool I reckon. Next Sunday evening at The Annandale with The Casino Rumblers is the next one, you've gotta pay to get in, but don't be cheap bastards. Get pissed at the Newtown festival and come on over.
Also, check out www.crookeduniform.com. They make clothes, and gave us some. Selling our souls? No no, it's more like bribed by free shirts that don't have holes in them.

We've got shows coming up if you're in Sydney and want to get out before you lose your minimum wage and go to jail for calling Johnny a cock. The terrorists hate us cause we're free, so the politicians are hoping to kindly, in a round about kind of way, unite anyone who isn't high up in the capital food chain with the terrorists against the only people who will be free now. A hint for you if you are inspired is that these guys wear classy suits, drive wanker cars and lay off workers because it's best for the shareholders. Maybe they should be considered too......
Rant, rant, the point is come to our shows.

It's been a while, but now we have a new recording and a new web address. The new cd fucken kicks arse I reckon, and it'll be all ready for your listening pleasure soon. 14 songs, and it's even got me singing for about 4 lines. You guys are lucky. Anyway to celebrate we got off our arses and got a pro sounding web address. Update your links if you have em, or just remeber this, it's not too hard:
If in fact you're reading this at that address there is no need to click the link. Also if you like advertising, you can keep using the old one, it'll be there for a little while longer.
Dunno what anyone else thinks about this, but if you want an mp3 or 2 from the new set of stuff, ask us. We might co-operate......
Big touring plans are all underway as well, so now's the time to send your email if you live in some place you don't think we'll play and tell us why we should come.
Also hopefully updates on this page will be more frequent than they have been in the last month or so.

Well, Browny broke his finger. The cd will not be affected, since i have offered to play guitar with my extremely talented appendage. This does mean however that we cannot play the Newcastle show this month. Apologies to all the loyal people up there, we'll see you a little later on.

There's a stack of new pics up, some from ages ago and some from our trip to Brisbane. If you were at the East Brisbane Bowls Club show have a look, you are probably on there somewhere.
The next show we're plahing is at the Gaelic Club on the 27th of August, that's next Saturday, and it's ALL AGES, so bring your neighbours kids or something. You might have to hang around in the non drinking section if they can't look after themselves though.
Word is that the new cd will be recorded within the next 3 months, more updates as they come to hand. It will be 12 or 13 previously unreleased songs.

Apologies to everyone who came and visited in the last month, only to see the same shite on this page. I have an excuse but it's not very interesting.
Emily, the show you wanted to know about is up on the shows page. Keep on planning your life around us, we don't mind. For anyone else, that's a show at the Gaelic Club at the end of August.
....more news very soon.

Fuck I had an awesome night on Saturday. The Lansdowne seems to be safe ground for the Trash these days, come down and party with us next time. Great stage presence Rachel. It was pretty funny to see Mitch Hertz (Selacious Crumb) so fucked up. Hy-Test, rocked, as usual. Get out and see them, especially the youngsters who like their rock and roll with balls and not so much punk peewee.
Em and Jane, check out the shows page, we're going to be in Newcastle on the 30th of September.
Join your union and get a board with a rusty nail in it, cause the man is gunna get his one out anytime soon.
Keep on checking the pics page for updates, they're coming in bit by bit. If you have any pics to offer, well pay sweet fuck all for em, but we will put your name (or pseudonym, if applicable) next to it.

The circus is back in town after travelling far and wide sortof. Thanks to all the dancing, drinking, cheering (and a few punching) people we met along the way. You guys made it worthwhile (for me anyway). Go on the messageboard for all the details that a fag wrote. Back in Sydney for a while, Newcastle, you'll get some soon, so start polishing your glasses (beer glasses).
Buy the new shirts we've got...order from the merch link above. Download The Ballad of Little Johnny over on the right there, you can't get it elsewhere yet. The cd will come out some time, so save up. There's talk of recording for the new ablum starting to bubble as well, but wait for more details.
Also, it fills me with a warm, fighting feeling to see all the unions standing up to the fuckwits (aka government) that we voted in. No one to blame but ourselves....you reckon? Oh well, get out and join the fight, they'll take all your rights and hand em over to their best buddies with all that fat cash to throw in. Mrs Thatcher really fucked us all with her pioneering spirit. Women in politics....hah....no, New Zealand's just fine, that can't be it, must be to do with ignorance and heartlessness.
Anyway, enough, rock on, drop us a line, buy us a beer, see you all very soon.

Well, if you avoided the Roaring Jack show you saved at least $20 but you missed one of our best shows yet. On exiting the stage after 2 encores Alistair Hulett and SC Trash were literally pushed back onto the stage by drunken fans screaming for more. There was also some very rare 80s dancing (dunno how to explain it, if you missed it you'll never know).
In other news, we'll be touring in May with Charter 77. Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane will all cop it. I think Creeping Jesus might be at some of those shows too. I don't have the details so they're not on the Shows page yet. Come back later or check the street press, telegraph poles, shop windows, etc.
There's plenty of Sydney shows till then though, see youse there aye
